Enter a Map Number (17 to 1541) Orem is map 442 Purpose: To provide a view of the habitats over a large area. Description The display is made up of six USGS Quad maps arranged in two rows of 3, with each quad map being made up of six habitat squares. The area shown is approximately 20 by 18 miles. The USGS Quad Map name of the map in the upper left corner is displayed as a title. Usage: Press button 'Display Map' to start. Optionally, enter the Quad Map number to jump to a specific map, or move to the desired location one map at a time.Initially, if no Quad Map number is entered, the display begins with Quad Map number 442, Orem. Select 'Show Habitats' to view the habitat maps, or 'Show Topo Map' to view the same area as a Topographic map. A list of quad maps and their number can be found here. Note: Use the back button to return to this page. To move horizontally or vertically from the current position, select the radio button that indicates the direction to move, then press 'Display Map'. Please note - the white areas in the habitat maps are either purposfully undefined or errors in the map data. They are often high rocky playas where little or nothing grows. Common Locations
